Purples & Pink

Hello again ,

I was waiting desperately for my newly bought few supplies to get delivered, finally they were here today. I am trying to increase my Distress Inks collection along with trying new things. I bought Distress Watercolor Cardstock , Bo bunny stamp set ( To the Point) , Distress ink ( Chipped Saphhire) along with some cardsheets from Artful Crafting.

I started out to some water color on the distress watercolor cardstock but I think I needed some more tryouts in order to achieve an aesthetic feeling so I tried another thing with my supplies , I took out my ink blending tool and start blending on the texture side,

.
I used picked raspberry and chipped sapphire and after that when I so happy from the look I spritz it  heavily with water and I achieved,

After that I used a diecutted butterfly and apply distress ink to it, and used the sentiment Hello on a peach cardstock and tucked in the butterfly.
The complete look is ....

Do let me know your feedback, it encourages me !! This is from my side till then , bubyee

Album for BFFs

Hello everyone ,

Today I am sharing with you all an album I recently completed. This album consists of 12 pages, pictures on both sides.
I must say I am not a photographer so my pics are like weird sometimes ,, hahhaha
Anyhow in this album I used various pattern papers which I had in my stash. This was a customized album so I made it according to the choices of the customer.

I used chipboard for the front tab, the tab had magnets for easy open and close system, I thought of using velcro but it was not giving the look I wanted so I removed it. I used the vials that was given to me and they were seriously was not put in to the use so I attached it here.

Here is the inside look ( once again not a photographer )

Some of the pages are like pockets for inner tabs.
I am learning as a card maker and a album maker and I want to create cards like some of the great ladies I have came across,,, ( I'll make a post of the people who are continuosuly teaching me and at the same moment urging me to buy new supplies ... these ladies are love )

Anyhow hope you like it , I will appreciate your comments and feedback, it will encourage me definitely, till then ..bubyeee

When I create another one...

This card is basically made by using the same stamp set ( Lawn Fawn - Turn me on). I saw one card made by Nicole Gavaldon using the same stamp set, it inspired me alot and also I am new to this so i tried to make it using the supplies I had, I used white cardstock for the base on which I attached my red cardstock panel and then I stamped the red panel with the bulbs, switch and heart using the distress ink (Fired Brick).

I stamped the bulbs and the switch on another white cardstock and colored them with Faber Castell color pencils. I attached them on another panel which was colored by Distress Inks ( Picked Raspberry). Added that gold twine again and it was ready.

My First Card..............

Well , this is my first official post on this blog.
I am very  fond of card making and finally I have been able to gather some of the supplies. I am also participating for the first time in the Love Challenge given by the Artful Crafting.
Well  this is my take, along with my few newly bought supplies,

I used the Lawn Fawn Stamp set , bought from Artful Crafting, ( I will link down the supplies). Along with that I did ink blending using Distress Ink (Picked Raspberries) and used a twine which was sitting in my Mom's stash for I don't know how many years... The shaded area under the bulbs was not captured by the camera.

Supplies:

Lawn Fawn Stamp Set - Turn me on
Tim Holtz Distress Mini Inkpad- Picked Raspberry
Tim Holtz Distress Mini Inkpad- Fired Brick
Blank Cards with Envelopes 10 pk- 6″x6″- Off White
